• Dwarf, prickly pear cactus from Mexico that’s ideal for indoor growing near a sunny window
• “Bunny ears” or oval cactus pads grow stacked on top of each other and produce creamy yellow flowers after a couple years
• Polka dot clusters of tiny, yellow glochids (barbed spines); don’t touch, use tongs to handle
• Thrives with gritty soil, infrequent water in the growing season, and no water in the winter
